Our Mission
Diane's Pet Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit dedicated to keeping pets with the families who love them whenever possible while providing a second chance to those in need. We rescue mostly dogs from high-risk situations, including overcrowded shelters, cruelty, hoarding, and retired commercial breeding cases, or were simply not wanted anymore. Many of these animals require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and patience before they are ready to become cherished family pets.
For more than 35 years, Diane has been committed to helping animals and the people who love them. Today, that mission continues through Diane’s Pet Rescue by providing Low-Cost Vaccine Clinics, rescuing vulnerable animals, and expanding access to preventive veterinary care for families facing financial hardship.
We believe that every pet deserves a second chance and we are committed to making that happen--one adoption at a time—to create a future where no animals have to suffer.

Diane’s Pet Rescue was founded by Diane Dietch, who spent over 35 years placing thousands of dogs into loving homes through Diane’s Discount Pet Supplies & Adoption Center. She is known for her ability to match the right pet with the right family.
Today, we continue that mission—saving dogs and puppies in need and helping them find loving homes. As a foster-based rescue, every dog is cared for in a home environment where their personality can shine.

According to PA laws, every pet owner must license their dog—you can purchase an annual license by submitting a completed application to your local county treasurer or issuing agent. .
Cost of dog licenses:
Annual licenses: $10.80 ANNUAL DOG LICENSE APPLICATION
Senior citizens or residents with disabilities: Annual fee: $8.80
Failure to you license your dog may result in a fine of up to $500 per violation, plus court costs.

According to PA laws, all dogs must be licensed. You can purchase a lifetime license by submitting a completed Lifetime Application to your local county treasurer or issuing agent. When applying for a Lifetime License your dog must have a microchip. You will need to submit a Permanent Identification Form - PIV Form confirming the microchip has been scanned.
Lifetime licenses: $52.80 LIFETIME DOG LICENSE APPLICATION & PIV FORM
Senior citizens or residents with disabilities - Lifetime fee: $36.80
Failure to you license your dog may result in a fine of up to $500 per violation, plus court costs.
